The Nerds Social Club Podcast · Nerds Social Club Podcast | Interview with Declan Shalvey

Bog Bodies follows the events of Irish gangsters as they attempt to track down a young man through the hills Dublin.

Aaron and Declan delve into all types of brilliant conversation. The Irish author alludes to all of the juicy details from the graphic novel, plus how he got into comics, how he got into fandom, and what amazing works he has coming next.

Declan Shalvey

The graphic novel itself is a dark, and moody, self contained story the delivers an utterly chilling ending. The characters are tangible, and leap from the page with a sense authentic realism. Fullerton delivers some dark, and terrifying imagery, and as the isolation of being alone out in swampy cold conditions, and the fear of being chased by a crazed gangsters creates a sense palpable tension.
