Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead is one of the very few anime that you can watch on Netflix, Hulu, and now on Crunchyroll, the adaptation of Haro Aso’s manga (and illustrated by Kotaro Takata) is set to explode, the mangaka behind Alice in Borderland.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead is animated by the studio BUG FILMS and directed by Kazuki Kawagoe, whose work includes Komi Can’t Communicate, and the series composition is written by Hiroshi Seko (VINLAND SAGA; Attack on Titan Final Season; Mob Psycho 100).

Why should watch Zom 100? Well, it’s an anime fit for tired millennials, the series follows Akira Tendo, a wage-slave with three years under his belt at the company from hell who is completely mentally and physically spent at the ripe old age of twenty-four. Even his crush from Accounting, Saori, wants nothing to do with him. Then, just when life is beginning to look like one big disappointment the zombie apocalypse descends on Japan and gives the chance to live. Surrounded by hordes of hungry zombies, Akira comes to a realization that will forever change his life… “Wait, does this mean I never have to go to work again?” Instead of being consumed with surviving in the zombie apocalypse, the series is about marking items off of your bucket list and living for the first time.

Japanese voice cast and characters: Shuichiro Umeda as Akira Tendo/Akira, Tomori Kusunoki as Shizuka Mikazuki/Shizuka, Makoto Furukawa as Kenichiro Ryuzaki/Kencho, and Minami Takahashi as Beatrix Amerhauser.

Additionally, Crunchyroll will feature the Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead anime subtitled in English, French, German, Italian, Castilian Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Hindi, Russian, and Arabic. And the series will be dubbed in English, French, German, Italian, Castilian Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Hindi. Dub launches will be announced at a later date and subject to change.

The Zom 100 anime series will be simulcast weekly on Crunchyroll in the United States and its territories, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, as well as the Indian subcontinent.
