EA and Capital Games, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, have revealed that Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, the collectible turn-based strategy RPG, will be coming to PC via the EA App for Windows this summer. Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes has reached nearly 100 million downloads and continues to be one of the top-grossing games on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The PC closed beta will be coming in May. In the meantime, players can sign up for an opportunity to participate in the closed beta by downloading the EA App to their Windows PC, setting up their EA Account, linking their EA and game accounts, and registering for the beta.

What is Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes?

In Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, players will battle throughout the action-packed galaxy featuring legendary characters and heroes from The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and more, including Darth Vader, Grand Master Yoda, The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and more. They will fight with dark and light side heroes across iconic locations.

The game bridges well-known franchise favorites with gameplay where players collect heroes and build squads. Once assembled, players work to find each character’s ultimate gear and fun abilities to construct unique combinations of elite teams to test exciting strategies for engaging in turn-based combat against bosses.

Can you carry your progress from mobile to PC?

Players will be able to progress from the mobile version to the PC version, as the Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes PC release is synced with the mobile version. Even better, the game is fully cross-platform, cross-commerce, and cross-progression. This means that players that have already invested time into the game on mobile won’t have to start over.

The game is also scaled to PC with higher-quality visuals and an improved layout. Adding new characters and regular in-game events will continue to expand the holotable experience and increase the roster of playable characters, including the highly-anticipated addition of Jar Jar Binks to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

If you’re looking to start playing while you wait for the May PC release, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes has the following features, highlighted by the developers:

  • Create your own team of iconic champions

    • Unlock, battle, and upgrade legendary Star Wars heroes & characters: Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Emperor Palpatine, Jabba the Hutt, and more.

    • Equip your heroes with upgradable gear to unlock their true potential.

  • Compete in Galactic Space Battles

    • Collect and unlock iconic ships & abilities to construct a war fleet ready for combat.

    • Recruit legendary heroes and test your turn-based strategy to pilot your mighty armada with iconic starships.

  • It embraces the Strategic Turn-Based RPG genre

    • RPG combat & Battle against other players: Fight, Conquer territories, collect epic loot, deploy reinforcements, upgrade your squad & turn the tide of battle with the right strategy.

    • Guild wars & PvP competition: Fight for land, lead raids, battle players in Territory Battles, and claim galactic dominance in Territory Wars through intense PvP combat.

  • Become A Master of the Galaxy

    • Grow unstoppable with commanding moves like Han Solo’s “Never Tell Me the Odds”, Obi-Wan Kenobi’s “Mind Tricks,” The Mandalorian’s “Disintegrate,” and more.

    • Battle the masses in turn-based strategy gameplay to become champions of the galactic hologames.

  • Squad Up Online

    • Lead raids with friends, create a customizable Guild, and team up with your friends to fight against bosses like rancors & AAT tanks in turn-based RPG battles.

    • Dominate in Territory Battles, unleash your entire arsenal of characters and ships against a progressively evolving battlefield & become a battle legend in turn-based RPG events such as Squad Cantina Battles, Galactic Challenges, PvP Squad Arena, and Squad Tournaments.

Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is available as a free download on the App Store and Google Play.
