Riot Games and Virgin Music Group proudly unveil the artists on the Arcane League of Legends: Season 2 original soundtrack, featuring a globally diverse lineup of exclusive tracks from artists including Twenty One Pilots, Stray Kids, Young Miko, Stromae, Marcus King, Ashnikko, d4vd, and more. Each track is an original composition crafted specifically for pivotal moments in the Emmy-winning series based on Riot’s iconic video game League of Legends. The music from Arcane League of Legends: Season 2 (Soundtrack From the Animated Series) is designed to capture the emotional depth of these beloved characters and enhance the storytelling experience. Many artists featured on the soundtrack are League of Legends players, passionate Arcane fans, and previous Riot Games collaborators.

The first single on the soundtrack, “Paint The Town Blue” by Ashnikko, was released on September 5 alongside the Arcane season two trailer. The track can be streamed here.

Building on the phenomenal success of the Arcane season 1 soundtrack, whose theme song was Imagine Dragons’ global #1 hit “Enemy,” the original soundtrack (OST) has amassed over 5.6 billion global streams since its release in November 2021. It maintains over 12 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, and the season 2 soundtrack is poised to captivate an even wider audience.

“Arcane’s groundbreaking approach to music inspired an incredibly diverse group of artists from many genres, languages, and cultures who wanted to be part of this new season. We also wanted to represent the global reach of League of Legends by working with artists from all around the world,” said Maria Egan, Global Head of Music at Riot Games. “Each song was a unique collaboration between the artists, our showrunners, and Riot’s composers. Music is the heartbeat of the League community and we can’t wait for our fans to experience this epic album to deepen their connection to these powerful stories.”

“I found myself inspired by season one and how the idea of family and who can make up your family sits within the central theme, and how music contributed to bringing that to life within the world of Arcane,” said Tyler Joseph of Twenty One Pilots.

“We’re very passionate about Arcane and League of Legends,” said Stray Kids. “Our single ‘Come Play’ has a dynamic taste to it, bringing all sorts of voices and languages together. We enjoy playing League, and we’re excited for fans to hear this song and see the second season of Arcane!”

With this new release, Riot Games Music continues celebrating the global League of Legends fandom, curating a tracklist representing a broad spectrum of artists and genres. The Arcane League of Legends: Season 2 soundtrack promises to deliver another unforgettable musical experience, further cementing Riot’s role as a cultural powerhouse in gaming and music.

The second season of Arcane debuts on Netflix in November 2024. Christian Linke and Alex Yee created the animated series, one of Netflix’s most successful ever. Linke, Marc Merrill, and Brandon Beck are executive producers. Fortiche Production directed and produced the Arcane animation under the direction of the founders Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord.
