Niantic announced that Season 5 The Blossoming Blade of Monster Hunter Now launches on March 6. Season 5 The Blossoming Blade will bring new monsters straight from their debut in Monster Hunter Wilds. Before the season even begins, Chatacabra, a monster making its first-ever appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds, will arrive in Monster Hunter Now on February 28th.

But that’s not all. With the arrival of a new spring season, new skills, rewards, quests and more are coming the players’ way.

What’s coming to Monster Hunter Now – Season 5 The Blossoming Blade?

Here are the things that you can expect coming in this brand new season of Monster Hunter Now.

  • Brand New Monsters – The mighty Glavenus and Arzuros will make their debut in Monster Hunter Now this spring joining the hunt once Season 5 begins.
  • New Skills – Hunters can further customize their playstyle using brand-new skills. Shared Sword grants players extra attack strength during group hunts, while Raw Power increases attack power by sacrificing weapon affinity.
  • Monster Emergence Quests – Completing brand-new monster emergence quests will allow monsters from past seasons to reappear in the field.

Additionally, players can jump into the game right now to enjoy part 1 of the Monster Hunter Now x Monster Hunter Wilds collaboration event for limited-time quests that allow players to acquire exclusive items and rewards for Monster Hunter Now and Monster Hunter Wilds.

On February 28, hunters can continue the fun with part 2 of the collaboration event with new quests and rewards, along with the debut of the mysterious Chatacabra.

Other exciting new updates this month include balance adjustments to the game and a new feature to celebrate the game’s 1.5-year Anniversary. Starting on March 17, players will be able to exchange special materials earned from hunts and events for various rewards.
