More about SEGA, the company behind Sonic Racing Crossworlds

Since its debut more than three decades ago, Sonic has become a pop culture icon featured in dozens of games, TV series, and movies. Established in 1986, SEGA of America publishes innovative interactive entertainment experiences for console, PC, mobile and emerging platforms. Its globally beloved franchises include Sonic the Hedgehog, Like a Dragon, Virtua Fighter, Super Monkey Ball, and Phantasy Star Online, along with Atlus’ Persona and Shin Megami Tensei series.

It’s turning out to be an incredibly busy release year for SEGA, with plenty of games for fans of all of SEGA’s properties to dive into. From Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii to Shinobi: Art of Vengeance and now this latest Sonic the Hedgehog release, this is just scratching the surface of what all SEGA’s got coming in 2025.
